MAYZ was founded in the Baton Rouge area by Conor May and Zach Whisenand. After waiting in line for an oil change on a hot day with no A/C, we were sweating our “you know whats” off. Dying to get back home, we still had to sit through countless attempts to upsell us services we didn’t need. When they finally let us go, all we could think about was how obnoxious it can be to just get an oil change.

Naturally, as two business majors with too much free time, we started thinking. If you can order a whole car on your phone, why cant you order an oil change? So we founded MAYZ, an oil change you can order on your phone. An oil change with no line. An oil change without any upselling. An oil change in your driveway. That’s it.
